The Message Hidden Within Romeo and Juliet Essay - 520 Words

Even in most dire situations, morals and messages are encrypted into the very soul of the occasion. Throughout different time periods, it’s imminent that these lessons are learned, all the way from the times of the Mayans and the Aztecs to the present day of technology and relationship-confusion. However, in the many eras of the supposed â€Å"morals,† it is mostly profound in Shakespearean times, and more specifically, in Shakespearean plays themselves. One heavy example of this is of course a story of â€Å"...Fair Verona, where we lay our scene. two star-crossed lovers... (Act I Prologue)† Even through the twists in the plot, the comedy, and the dramatic overview, it delivers numerous positive messages. (Act :)† Juliet moreover expresses this more than Romeo does throughout, due to Capulet being more controlling than Montague. The biggest climaxes of the rebellion are when Juliet marries Romeo, and when she denies her father to marry County Paris. Lastly, the overall summary of the play is based off of one word: a tragedy; however, it couldn’t be possible without the obvious subdivision on the entire performance, which is none other than love. Obviously, love is an entirety of tyranny throughout the play, and some even say caused the grudges between the feuding families. It’s clearly shown when Romeo says, â€Å"This war is not one of hate, but one of love (Act:)†Whenever something of that nature is mentioned or suggested in the play, the outcome never ends well. Even the overall play starts with love, and ends with suicide of the very same people. Though love may be a virtue to some, it is nothing but destruction to most. Throughout a play of lust, tyranny, hate, and tragedies, Romeo and Juliet continues to be one of the most celebrated novels of all time. Because of his genius, Shakesp eare continues to be a phenomenal poet, even in death.
